Case Study - AGGREKO

Brand Problem

Aggreko is a specialist provider of temporary energy and power generation globally. Serving a diverse group of clients from third world countries and post conflict zones to huge sporting events like the Olympics. As a FTSE 250 business Aggreko experienced significant growth in the last ten years. But when their retained corporate communications agency experienced  reputational challenges of their own, a new PR and comms agency was needed and quickly.

Our Solution

A new model agency was needed. Working closely alongside the senior team, we helped to identify the vital factors, define the requirement and the future communications needs of the business. We created a spec and profile for the ideal future communications partner who could cover the full gamut of stakeholders comms. We completed a discreet options appraisal and re-engineered the pitch brief to allow a strong and well structured response from our shortlisted agencies.

The Results

We advised on the selection process and handed over to Aggreko’s procurement team to manage this. The selection involved CEO input and London-based specialists in financial and corporate communications, Headland were appointed.
